And you're right, t...Thanks for reading, Jack! And you're right, this isn't a very good issue. I have to think their minds were on preparing for the TZ Movie Special Issue next month. Disch is very harsh but also very entertaining. I really enjoy both versions of Body Snatchers. Jack Finney is one of those fortunate authors to have not one but two really good movies made from his novel. I enjoy a lot of the SF remakes from that time, though, like Body Snatchers, The Thing, The Fly, even The Blob remake. Probably because I grew up watching those movies more so than the originals. I don't think the '78 Body Snatchers holds up as well as the '56 version.
