The Night Gallery book is particularly difficult to find and can be pricey for a nice copy, and though the contents are great it's only a small portion of the stories adapted for that series. I listed all the original Night Gallery stories at the bottom of the About the Vortex page and it's a ton compared to the Zone.

I decided to limit my selection of works to those discussed in the article and published in Serling's lifetime, with the one exception, Rod Serling's Other World's (1978). We list all the Zone and Night Gallery books in the Vortex library though. Thanks for reading!JPhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14808904189056290207noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1318310043864039191.post-6561148902650772682017-04-20T18:54:01.476-05:002017-04-20T18:54:01.476-05:00For the completists among you:

Also a couple of Serling originals are turned into prose by Serling's daughter, Anne Serling-Sutton.
These are mainly stories that wee previously published in magazines and such, which is why Earl Hamner and G.C. Johnson aren't in here.
Carol Serling provides a historical foreword.

- In 1987, Dembner Books published Rod Serling's Night Gallery Reader, edited by Carol Serling, along with Greenberg and Waugh from the previous volume.
This has the same format as the TZ book: the original prose versions as published in magazines of stories bought for use on Night Gallery.
The contents page is, as expected, wide-ranging - Fritz Leiber, C.M. Kornbluth, H.P. Lovecraft, August Derleth, many others.

Both of these books are long out of print; I had the devil's own time tracking them down but I eventually did, a search I commend to you all.
And I definitely believe that both books belong on your list - in the interest of completeness, of course.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05527404061764217504noreply@blogger.com
